Anthony James Hall, MD, CM, FACS, FAANS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon with more than 38 years of experience serving patients across South Florida. Born in Mona, St. Andrew, Jamaica, Dr. Hall was raised in a family that valued education and service. He attended preparatory schools in Kingston before immigrating with his family to Canada, where he completed medical school at McGill University Faculty of Medicine, Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1988.
Dr. Hall completed his internship in general surgery at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, NY in 1989, followed by a neurosurgical residency at the University of Miami in 1995. He entered private practice in Miami in that same year and has since cared for both adult and pediatric patients. He focuses on neurological surgeries, spine and cranial disorders, minimally invasive spine surgery, and interventional pain management related to the spine and neurological conditions. He was the first surgeon in South Florida to perform tubular access spinal discectomies, and to introduce the Radionics X-Knife for stereotactic radiosurgery.
Dr. Hall is affiliated with several hospitals, including HCA Florida JFK Hospital, HCA Florida Northwest Hospital, Jupiter Medical Center, and Memorial Hospital Miramar. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Hall is deeply committed to education and leadership. He is board certified by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and a member of Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Florida Neurosurgical Society, and the National Medical Association. Dr. Hall speaks English, Spanish, and French. Outside of medicine, he and his wife are devoted to raising their six children.
